last week i spent five days mostly staying out of peoples’ way on film sets for the independent westernto kill a memory. in attempting to look busy and purposeful, i managed to fill 44 sketchbook pages with observational drawings of the movie-making process.

sketchbook scans from heypenny‘s cd release show for their marvelous new album at mercy lounge a couple weeks ago. i did the pen sketches on site, then ink washes afterwards (bc being afraid of color palettes is no way to live).
i have a tendency to forget about my tiny little etsy shop for long stretches, but it’s there! and now it has this in it: it’s a letterpress-printed accordion book about old greek soap opera, and the river styx as a terrible tentacle monster. more detailed info and photos at listing in my shop, HERE.
